What “什么” ,问什么东西/事。
What subjects do you like? 你喜欢什么科目？

How ”怎么样”，问方式方法。

Who “谁”， 问人。

Where “哪里” ，问地点。

When “什么时候”，问时间。
When do you have breakfast in the morning? 你在早上几点吃早餐？
-At seven o’ clock. 在7点钟。

Why “”为什么”，问原因。
Why are you late for school?你今天上学为什么迟到了？
